Garden Arms Hotel

Absolutely amazing wee place and food delicious and spot on! The fish was fresh, chips were lovely. The waiter was very friendly and full of jokes. Definitely recommend.

We are staying in Crovie Village this week we called in for a couple of pints what a hidden gem. The landlord was lovely to talk to and his staff were lovely too. They were not serving food when we went but we have booked in for Friday for some lovely food we have heard so much about while we are on holiday. Lovely friendly clean pub staff and landlord lovely people 5 for us. Mr & Mrs Graham Went back in on Friday for food had smoked haddock rarebit what a choice we made, outstanding food nice menu all home cooked by the chef well done all keep up the good work 5 food all the way

Very hospitable pub, the locals make you feel very welcome. Beers are ok, shame there’s no cask but keg is fine. The best haddock I have ever tasted. We will definitely come back.

Had lunch at the Garden Arms today. We hadn’t booked but they kindly managed to fit us in. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Service and food were good. Prices very reasonable. Would happily visit again

Seven of us had lunch here today. Great quality fish and chips and outstanding smoked haddock rarebit. With drinks (most of us had two) the bill was less than 19 pounds a head. The restaurant has only recently opened and they're still finding their feet but the proprietors were warm, welcoming and self-effacing. We wish them the very best for the future.

Fabulous little hotel in an amazing village. Wow wow wow. Stayed here unexpectedly in August when on a motorbike tour of Scotland with a buddy. We were fed up camping and suddenly came across the hotel while just meandering. Our hosts could not have been nicer in looking after us and allowed us to park our bikes in the corner of the small beer garden, got rooms ready for us at short notice, cooked food which was fantastic, the beer was great, the locals were welcoming and I had an early night. Will definitely be back when I’m visiting Scotland again with the real boss in the car and will spend more time here.

What a great pub, I called last week while staying in Gardenstown, I had such a warm welcome, I had fish and chips and a couple of pints. It's great to find these "gems" while travelling. So friendly. Thanks.

Stayed here and enjoyed many wonderful hours in the bar. Having drinks and making friends with locals. The hotel is 275 years old and is where Bram Stoker stayed while writing part of his novel Dracula. The place itself is quaint and historic and beautiful and the food is really delicious. And all the bar itself has a nice fireplace and a wonderful atmosphere with great owners,they are quite friendly and hospitable , kid and dog friendly as well !!
